Purpose

The purpose of the Clowne Enterprise Membership Scheme is to support local enterprise growth by:

• Providing members with a range of benefits which may vary from time to time
• Providing opportunities for members to meet at Forum and Network meetings organised by Clowne Enterprise
• Acting as a mouthpiece for small businesses in Clowne, Creswell, Whitwell and Barlborough

Member benefits at January 1, 2010

• Free attendance at Clowne Enterprise Forum meetings which will be held five times per annum
• Attendance at informal Network meetings which will be held monthly, except for during holiday periods
• Free participation, or discounted participation, in Clowne Enterprise organised events (eg Business Fairs)
• Affiliate membership of the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce with access to their range of associate benefits and discounts
• Priority access to Clowne Enterprise’s business support services
• Membership certificate
• Membership name badge for use at meetings

Management

Programmes and activities will be discussed and agreed at monthly meetings. Members will have the opportunity to propose items for inclusion at forum and network meetings, to recommend new partnerships that should be formed, to identify potential new membership benefits, or sponsorship arrangements.

Fees

From January 1, 2010 joining and membership fees are as follows:

• Annual membership fees - £36 per annum, or £3 per month if joining part way through the year)
  For example a new member joining in March 2010 will pay 10x£3 (march to December) = £30
