CHIEF executive of Clowne Enterprise Paul Davies is one of only ten people nationwide to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion.
The award recognises those who have made a contribution to promoting and supporting enterprise in the UK.
Paul said: “It has been awarded to me in recognition of my work at Clowne Enterprise and as chair of the steering group and board on the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative programme in Bolsover, Ashfield and Mansfield.”
“I get a lot of gratification from my work, seeing people setting up their own businesses, and this provides a bit of extra recognition.”
Paul will receive the award in July at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, followed by a reception at Buckingham Palace.
